Justin Kent “JFurn” Furnish

Justin Kent “J-Furn” Furnish, born in Baton Rouge on October 29, 1990, passed away in St. Amant, LA on August 09, 2023, at the age of 32.  Justin had a passion for cooking and loved showing off this talent to his family. He was funny and witty, had the biggest heart, and his laugh was contagious.  Justin was very passionate and proud of his talent of flying drones.  He was sponsored several times for drone flying competions and also featured on ESPN Sports channel at one time. Justin also enjoyed video games and technology. He and his mother recently took up dart throwing together and played in a few tournements. Justin is survived by his mother, Theresa Furnish; sisters, Jody Wederstrandt and husband Travis and Emily Brown; grandmother, Ann Massey; niece, Baylor Wederstrandt; nephew, Corbin Wederstrandt as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Justin is preceded in death by his father, Brian Kent Furnish; grandparents, Rose and Oren Furnish, and Harold “Bubba” Massey.

The family will announce a memorial service at a later date for friends and family to come together to celebrate Justin’s life.  Arrangements entrusted with Church Funeral Services of St. Amant.
