Judith "Judy" Jenkins

Judith “Judy,” affectionately known as “JuJu,” Jenkins passed away peacefully on June 30, 2026, at the age of 81.

Born on August 4, 1944, in St. Amant, Louisiana, Judy was a longtime resident of White Castle, Louisiana. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished sister, and faithful friend whose greatest joy came from the people she loved. Judy will be remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit, unwavering strength, and the warmth she shared with everyone she met. Her life was a beautiful reflection of love, compassion, and selflessness.

Judy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Emerald “Bubba” Jenkins; her beloved son, Craig Thomas Jenkins; and her parents, Beatrice Lindsay Guerico and Jimmy Joseph Savoy as well as her step father Sam Guerico.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sisters, Rose Mary Johnson and Ruth Cedotal; her brothers, Jim Savoy and Tim Guerico; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, lifelong friends, and all whose lives were blessed by knowing her.

Though our hearts grieve her absence, we find comfort in knowing that Judy’s faith has become sight and that she has been welcomed into the presence of her Savior, Jesus Christ. The love she gave so freely will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and her memory will be treasured for generations to come.
