It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Juan Carlos Ramirez Sr., a devoted father and loyal friend, who left us far too soon on April 16th, 2025 at the age of 59, while surrounded by family at Our Lady of the Lake.
Born on January 3rd, 1966 in Mexico City, Mexico. Juan Carlos was a man of quiet strength, deep love, and unwavering dedication. He spent his life putting others first—whether it was his children, who were his greatest pride, or the countless lives he touched through his kindness, humor, and wisdom. A hardworking man with a gentle spirit, Juan Carlos built a life centered around family.
He leaves behind his 4 children: Juan Carlos Jr., Gabriela, Guadalupe (Anthony), and Karla, and many others who considered him a second father, mentor, or friend. Juan Carlos was extremely proud of being a grandfather to Ella Grace.
He was known for his Sunday morning chilaquiles, and his talent for fixing anything with just a wrench and some determination. He loved watching sports games but mainly for the memories he made with friends. Some of the best memories were around the grill, and Juan Carlos in the middle of it all— cooking, joking, and making sure everyone was having a good time. His legacy lives on in the lives he shaped and the love he gave freely.
A mass will held on May 2nd at 6 pm at St. Pius X Catholic Church. All who knew and loved Juan Carlos are welcome to attend and share in remembering his life. Though our hearts are broken, we find peace knowing he is now at rest, and his love continues to guide us every day.
