Jordan’s life was a miracle and a living testimony to God’s love for us.
His time on earth was brief but the love and joy he brought to his family is eternal.
A service to honor Jordan is private.
For Jordan
At week 13 we learned we’d have a baby boy
But something in the ultrasound hindered all our joy
At week 21 doctors said what they thought was best
His condition would only worsen, and he’d never take a breath
They listed possibilities nothing short of grim,
Ultimately saying there was no hope for him.
They said life beyond minutes was unthinkable
But his parents knew that our God is capable
At week 35 we planned, and we prayed
Eager to receive the promise God made
He took his first breath and then he took another
Feeling loved and safe in the arms of his mother
Many gathered to hear his soft and precious cry
A true miracle from God that no one could deny
Even though he left this Earth it was a blessing all the same
A miracle that changed our lives and Jordan is his name.
