Jonathan passed away in his home at the age of 45. He was a beloved family member, and cherished friend who found joy in life’s simple and meaningful moments. He deeply enjoyed being outdoors and listening to music, and he especially loved cooking, camping, hunting, and fishing. Jonathan took great pride in his children and in his work as an iron worker.
Jonathan is survived by his children, who mourn him deeply: his oldest daughter, Breanna Harding; his son, Jaxon Harding; and his daughter, Kynlee Powell.
He is also survived by his biological family: his sisters, Juanita Olinde Guillory and Rachelle Olinde; his brother, Chris Jarreau; and a number of nieces and nephews, as well as aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shelia Ann Law; his father, Johnny Boy Delapasse; his grandmother, Alice Olinde Sanidas; and his brother-in-law, Donnie Guillory.
Jonathan is lovingly remembered by his adopted family as well. He was preceded in death by his father, David F. Harding; his mother, Patsy W. Mahan; and his brothers, David Harding and Donald Harding; and his best friend and nephew, James Hoffman. He is survived by his brothers, Ronnie Harding and Larry Harding (Kathy); his sister, Patti Moses (Mark); his godchild, Hunter Landry; his nephew, Andrew Landry; and his niece, Kayci Jo Hoffman.
A Celebration of Life for Jonathan will be held at Erwinville Baptist Church on February 21st, 2026, from 11:00am - 3:00pm.
As his family reflects on his journey, they remember that he died fighting something we didn’t truly understand—but he fought, every day.
