Jonathan Gayle Fogle

West Monroe, LA.

Graveside service for Jonathan “Jon” Gayle Fogle of West Monroe, LA will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday March 19,2024 at the Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Rayville, with Bro. Ron Lowe officiating.

Services are under the direction of Church Funeral Services and Crematory.

Jon was born April 27, 1951, and passed from this life March 10, 2024, at the age of 72.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell Gayle Fogle & Margaret Francis McCauley Fogle & grandson James “Lil Jammy” Randall Carey Franklin II.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, of 51 years, Rachelle “Stormy” Fogle, daughter, Jennifer Barmes and husband Rodney
 Son, Erik Fogle and wife, Tamara; grandchildren, Kassidy Claire Wallace and husband Lance, Jacob Tyler Robinson and wife Alexia, Noah Chandler Robinson & wife MandoLynne, Stormy Marie Fogle, Gracie Dawn Fogle, Deja Li Riley; great-grandchildren, Whitley Belle Tullos, Finley Rae Tullos, RaughzLynne BelleRae Celeste Robinson, brother, James Fogle and wife Anna, sister, Becky Ayni & husband Joe, niece, Margaret “Maggie” Feldt and husband Isaiah, nephew, Elliott Fogle; cousin & friend, Brian Wheat & also survived by his fur babies, Ava, Sandy & Buddy and a host of extended family and friends.

Jonathan enjoyed building & operating R/C (radio controlled) boats, planes, helicopters, trains, etc. He attended Archbishop Rummel High School in Metarie and held the 440-yard dash state record in 1969 after winning the Louisiana State Track Championship, he then later went on to LSU after obtaining a track scholarship. 
 
 He served in the United States Marines and US Army as a MP -Military Police officer. He received the National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal. Jonathan was a member of the Louisiana National Guard, Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Deputy & a Security supervisor at Glenwood Regional Medical Center.


Special thanks to Glenwood Regional Medical Center ICU nursing staff, especially Mary Kate, Heather, Wisty & Tim & to Dr Murray, Dr Clyde Elliott, Dr Virginia Gonzalez & Brian Moore FNP who have all been supportive & provided compassionate & excellent care, and Peter Tuberville with Church Funeral Services. We are forever grateful.
