Joey Lee Young

An offshore worker and pipefitter passed away at 38 years old on July 7, 2023, in Baton Rouge, LA.  He is survived by his daughter Chloe Young; father Ricky Young (Kathy); brother Jeremy Young (Christina); stepsiblings Christy Lambert (Cody) and Travis Chauvin; and maternal grandmother Doris Fletcher.  He was preceded in death by his mother Betty Young; maternal grandfather Franklin Delano Fletcher; paternal grandmother Grace Young; and paternal grandfather Walter Young.  Joey loved the Lord and was baptized on February 19, 2023.  He was a hard worker, fabulous cook, adventurous, funny, understanding, and loving.  He loved spending time with his daughter and going to church.  His services were held at First Baptist Church in Livingston, LA and conducted by Pastor Brian Gunter.
