Jerry Brooks Hedgepeth

On September 11, 2026, our family experienced the heartbreaking loss of Jerry Brooks Hedgepeth, who was known and loved by many as Brooks. Brooks was loved by so many. He had a smile that could brighten any room, a huge heart, and so much love to give.He was a beloved son, brother, family member, loving uncle, and friend. His passing has left a hole in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him. 

Brooks is survived by his mother, Tammy Darlene Hughes; stepfather, Michael Hughes; two sisters, Jessica Lynn Ratcliff and Laura Elizabeth Norman (Daniel Norman); and three brothers, Joseph Stortz (Sarah Aubin), Jeremy Stortz (Jackie Stortz), and Michael Sibley (Amy Sibley). He was also deeply loved by his numerous nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Darwin Glen Ratcliff, and Sidney Joseph Stortz Jr. 

Brooks was deeply loved and will forever be remembered and missed. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends and in all those whose lives he touched.
