Jerod "Butch" Foster

A Lifelong resident of Port Vincent, LA passed away on October 3, 2026. Born on September 16, 1950 in Independence. Jerod "Butch” Foster was the devoted son of Mildred and Julius Foster. (Biological parents Jerod and Peggy)

He was married to his wife Katherine for 52 years. His legacy for kindness and his giving nature will live on in his Surviving Children, Crystal, Charles, and Cassie with her Husband Billy Polk; his treasured grandkids, Daven, Kyle, Brennan, Keleigh, Breleigh, Clay (Mckaila), and Blake (Sierra); and great grandkids, Rhenlee, Elvis, Kaylin and Sadie.

He was preceded in death by his grandson Easton.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Butch's life at Faithful United Methodist Church, 14253 Highway 431. St. Amant LA 70774, on October 13, 2026 from 1:00 pm until funeral services at 2:00 pm. The burial will follow in Faithful United Methodist Church Cemetery.
