Jeremy Todd Smith

Jeremy Todd Smith, affectionately known to family and friends as “Todd,” passed away on April 9, 2025, at the age of 47. Todd was a resident of Denham Springs, Louisiana, and his departure has left a void that will be felt by all who knew him. Todd was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Doyle Eugene and Carol Joy Smith; his sister, Deann Franklin. He leaves behind his cherished wife, Michelle T. Smith, and three sons who were the light of his life: Jerry Vasquez III, Tristan Reese Smith and future Daughter-in-law, Lorna Agren and Brodie Dawson Smith. Todd is also survived by his loving sisters, Deborah Smith Senn and Memorie Smith Menard, as well as his in-laws, Nora and Rudy Ramirez, who held a special place in his heart. He will be deeply missed by his 3 sisters-in-laws and 5 brother-in-laws, 6 nieces, 4 nephews, 2 grandnieces, 2 grandnephews, and a host of cousins. Among his many cherished relationships, Todd always looked forward to visits from his cousin Amy (Randy) Brasher from Alabama. These weekends were filled with laughter and delicious food, especially thanks to Randy’s exceptional cooking, which Todd always looked forward to.

His love for his family was boundless, and he was known for his warm heart and generous spirit. Todd never met a stranger, and his infectious enthusiasm for life made him the life of every gathering. His passion for his favorite team, the Alabama Crimson Tide was legendary, “Roll Tide” will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew him. Funeral services to honor Todd’s memory will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, located at 865 Hatchell Ln, Denham Springs, LA 70726. The day will begin with a visitation at 10 a.m., followed by rosary @ 11:30 a.m. The funeral mass will commence at noon, officiated by Father Matthew Graham. Todd’s departure from this world leaves a legacy of love, strength and unforgettable memories. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
