Jeffery Ray Hernandez

A ceremony celebrating the life of Jeffery R. Hernandez will be held on Tuesday February 20, 2024, at Faith Fellowship Pentecostal Church of God, with visitation beginning at 5:30 pm until time of service at 7:00 pm. Faith Fellowship Church, 10779 Yarlin Street, Denham Springs.

Jeffery "Jeff" Ray Hernandez, age 43, was born in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana on May 16th,1980, and passed on into the loving embrace of our Heavenly Father on Thursday, February 1st, 2024. Jeffery was an esteemed artist and held a unwavering passion for projecting his art onto the bodies and hearts of many in the form of ink as a tattooist. He began working as a tattoo artist at a young age where he would go on change and bring joy to the lives of those who would seek him out to have their memories forever engraved onto their bodies in the form of ink. Jeffery was a devoted follower of our Lord and instill the love and worship of the Lord to those around him with bible in hand. He was a firm believer in the gospel and rekindled the flames of faith to many who lost their way, an unofficial but true believer in the Lord's prayer. He was a friend and brother figure to every person he came into contact with where he shared everlasting memories with those he loved and cherished in life. A devoted family man who sought to better the lives of those around him even through sacrifices. Jeffery is survived by his mother Anna Hernandez; wife, Melissa "Missy" Hernandez; daughters, Alyssa Wright and husband Bay Morgan, Rebecca Hernandez, and Stormy Hernandez; son, Elijah Hernandez; granddaughter, Evie Morgan; sister, Tammy Hudson; brother, Kenny Koleszar; and 11 nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, Lester Hernandez, and uncle, Chester Hernandez.
