Jeanette Guilbeau

Jeanette G. Guilbeau, a native of Plaucheville and a resident of the City of Central, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2023, at the age of 84. Jeanette was born on September 7,

1939. She was a 1957 graduate of St. Joseph School, worked many years as an accountant and retired as a Real Estate Agent.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in the City of Central. Committal service will be at 2:30 at Resthaven Garden of Memories.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Guilbeau, sons, Randy Guilbeau and wife Julie and Marty Guilbeau and wife Melissa; sister Constance Scharwath; grandchildren, Spencer Guilbeau, Cassie Groger and Lacie Edwards; and four great grandchildren, Colton and Connor Groger and Russo and Landry Edwards.

She was preceded in death by her husband Wilfred 'Crip' Guilbeau; parents, Allen and Mazie Gremillion: brothers Raymon and Rodney Gremillion, sister Ella Dean Eleby; brothers Stephen and Tyson Lacombe.

Jeanette (Mama) was a loving mother and sister and above all else, a loving and dedicated grandmother and great grandmother. The love and dedication shown by her and their previously deceased 'Papa' has and will have an ever-lasting impact on their lives.
