Jean Marie Boudreaux Couret was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on December 10, 1941. She was the only child of Felician and Juliet Boudreaux.
One of her greatest accomplishments was being an elementary school teacher. She enjoyed sharing her knowledge, creativity and compassion with her students. Jean’s strongest desire was to be a mother, and God blessed her with two children who she dearly loved.
Being “Mama” to daughter Keiron Leigh and son “Cory” was her greatest joy. She also had the joy of being “Mama” to her daughter-in-law Yuka and “Maw-Maw” to her granddaughter Ai.
Jean went home to be with her Lord and Savior on November 3, 2026. She will be loved always and forever by her family.
