A ceremony celebrating the life of Jane Ann Gautreaux Harris will be held on Tuesday December 13, 2022, at 12 noon at Greenwell Springs Baptist Church, visitation will begin at 9:30 am. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.

She was born on November 20, 1947, in Morgan City and departed from this life on Tuesday December 6, 2022, at St. Joseph Hospice The Carpenter House. She was currently a resident of Denham Springs and a member of Greenwell Springs Baptist Church.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, fishing, camping with The Happy Camping Family, and spinning around on the dance floor with her best friend, her husband.

She is preceded in death by parents Wilbert J. and Willie Rae Gautreaux, sister Linda J. Thibodeaux, and a niece Deanna Therese Dockter.

She is survived by her husband of thirty years Ronald Gene Harris Sr., her children Bryan J. LeJeune (Dawn), Carey G. LeJeune (Carolina), Ronald Gene Harris Jr., and Christy Harris Bourgeois (Trent), mother-in-law Jewel T. Wisner, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Michael Ray and Susan Harris, Randy and Brenda Williams, Jeff and Terry Carpenter, also survived by 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, host of nieces and nephews that she cherished and loved dearly: as well as extended family and friends.

Family and friends that prefer may give a memorial gift. Memorial gifts will be used by the family to honor Jane’s life and memory through charities of their choice.
