James Anthony Piper

James always had a smile on his face, and a witty comeback for everyone. His pride was his children. James loved fishing, especially with his brother, Jesse, which is evident by the many pictures he sent bragging to his brother.

James was survived by his three children, Ryleigh Blank, Ethan Piper and Brooklyn Blank, and the mother of his beloved children, Rachel Blank; his mother and step father, Kathleen Clouatre Richard and John Steven Richard, his father, Patrick Piper, and his grandmother, Mary “KiKi” Piper. His brother, Jesse Wayne Piper (Angela); step siblings: Shannon and Tracie Richard; Kim and Kaycee Hebert.

James was proceeded in death by his grandparents, Arthur and Laura Clouatre, and Ralph Piper, Sr.

Visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Amant, LA, on Monday, May 18, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m.
