James "Jimmy" N. Holland

James "Jimmy" N. Holland, born December 22, 1939, passed away on December 27, 2023 at the age of 84. He was a native of Walker, Louisiana and a resident of French Settlement, Louisiana. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Lorrie Holland; his brothers Jesse and Danny Holland; parents, Georgie and Burt Holland. Jimmy was survived by his two daughters, Kelly Holland and Khristy Lanier; his son, Kevin Holland (Tracy); his four grandchildren, Nicholas and Cody Holland, Brittany Kennedy (Adam) and Lexie Lanier; two great grandchildren, Mea and Rylan, his four brothers, Gene, Melvin, Talton and Brent Holland, one sister Mandy McKinney and numerous nieces and nephews. His services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 15710 La Highway 16, French Settlement, LA, on Saturday, December 30th, 2023. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m until services at 12:00 p.m. He was a good man who loved all animals, especially horses and mules. He loved his 3 faithful dogs, Frank, Mike, and Cindy.
