Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 40 years, Shirley Remore Brandao; children, Heather Allen Powell and Michael of West Monroe, Jessica Miletello and Jesse of West Monroe, Chelsey Knight and Jeremy of West Monroe, adopted children, Mike Cash and Elizabeth of Texas, Kayla and Logan Daigle of Calhoun; grandchildren, Gabriel Allen, Drake, Avery, Mason and Owen Miletello, Anthony “AJ’ and Maverick Knight, Kyleigh, Kayleigh and Charliegh Rae Diagle, and KayKay Cash; brothers, Julian “Jay” and Rose Brandao of Orange, Texas, Keith Brandao of Calhoun, Marcel and Laura Brandao of Calhoun; brother and sister in-laws, Leslie and Lori Remore of Downsville, Charlene and George Brown of Downsville, Donnie and Bilbo Mims of Calhoun, Danny and Kathey Hicks of Calhoun, and Virginia Platt of Monroe; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews that he loved and all loved him, as well as the two that have been by his side through his last days… Gidget Broussard and Rachael Brown.

Pat worked for many trucking companies with the CB handle “Light Foot”. He left that carrier and came home for his girls. During the day, he worked for sheet metal companies, but during spring time he was a softball coach at Calhoun ballpark. His proudest time was when he coached the “Calhoun Dirteaters”. He still reminisced about those days.

This past year he went to work at Harvest Foods in West Monroe. He fell in love with his co-workers and that job. He took pride in aisle 3 and ice cream, making sure it was lined up right. His work ethic was unmatched.

He loved playing disc golf and had many friends through this sport. He played in the yard many days teaching his grandkids the proper technique.

He had the biggest smile and the most contagious laugh. His family was everything to him. He adored his grandkids and children. If you talked to “Pat” for more than five minutes, then you certainly got to hear about how much he loved his wife.

He leaves behind many more memories for his family to cherish for the rest of their days.
