Irvin Joseph Bourque, Sr.

Irvin Joseph Bourque, Sr., born on March 12, 1943 in Gonzales, LA, passed away on September 11, 2024 surrounded by family at the age of 81. Irvin was a retired operator from Uniroyal Chemical, and he enjoyed hunting and fishing. 

Irvin is survived by his children, Katherine Bourque Johnson (Jeffrey), Irvin Bourque, Jr. (Jill), and Tully Bourque (Mandy); his grandchildren, Kayla Johnson Davis (Cy), Bralyn Bourque, and Mallory Bourque; great-grandchildren, Paisley, Finley Kate, and Cyrus Davis; and his sibling, Eddie Bourque. 

He is preceded in death by his wife, Ann Bourque; his parents, Murphy and Beatrice Villenurve Bourque; and his siblings, Allison Bourque, Murphy (M.J.) Bourque, and Connie Bourque Evans. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at The Church International,13423 Highway 431, St. Amant, LA, on Friday, September 20, 2024. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am until service starting at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Hope Haven Garden of Memory, 604 E Highway 30, Gonzales, LA.
