Irene Guillot Watson

  Irene Guillot Watson, age 73, of Plattenville, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

  Born on November 13, 1952, in Paincourtville, Louisiana, Irene lived a life filled with love and devotion to her family. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

  Irene is survived by her devoted husband, Greg Watson; her children, Ryan Watson, Erica Gamble, and Randi Watson; and her cherished grandchildren: Tayler, Ryleigh, Shealyn, Aubrey, Dayton, and Bode. She also leaves behind her sister Lorraine and brothers Danny and Ricky. In addition to these close family members, many other relatives and friends will hold her memory dear.

  She was preceded in death by her parents, Emelda and Thomas Guillot; as well as her siblings Rita, Tommy, Nell, Shirley, and Russell.

  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor Irene's memory and celebrate the beautiful life she lived.

  Though deeply missed by all who knew her, Irene's love and legacy will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those she touched. May her memory bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.
