In Loving Memory Carol Elaine Ruggles

Carol E. Ruggles, age 58, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023. She has entered a new life, resting in the arms of her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ and is now reunited with her beloved husband, Keith. Carol was born December 24, 1964, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Mrs. Ruggles is survived by her children; son, Lyle Joseph Ruggles and his spouse; daughter, Lindsay C. Ruggles-Chiasson and her spouse; and three grandchildren: Loretta, Kashton, and Colt. She is preceded in death by her husband, Keith Lyle Ruggles, Jr. Carol treasured her children and embraced moments with them. She especially loved her role as MiMi. Her hobbies included crafting, refinishing furniture, baking, relaxing at the beach and spending time with her grandchildren. She had a vicarious personality and made people around her laugh and feel heard. She will be remembered as a tough and tireless advocate for those who faced battles that could not be seen by the eye. She had many spiritual sisters that she gained from The Ruth House and loved them all dearly. Carol was a graduate of The Ruth House and a member of The Church International. These both were very special places that were near and dear to her heart. Thank you to The Ruth House and The Church International for walking this journey with the Ruggles family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life service honoring Carol at The Church International 13423 LA-431 St. Amant, Louisiana on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, with visitation from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and memorial service beginning at 11:00AM.
