Listen to Obituary

Henry Larry Brock, 73, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on July 10, 2026, at his home in Walker, Louisiana. Born on June 15, 1953, in Ocilla, Georgia, Henry brought warmth, strength, and a welcoming heart to everyone who knew him throughout his life. Henry was best known to friends and family as Larry.

Larry was a man of deep faith and dedication. He was a faithful member of the First Pentecostal Church of Denham Springs, Louisiana, where he proudly and warmly served as an usher for many years. His commitment to hard work was equally evident in his career; Larry dedicated 49 years of loyal service to Flowers Foods, where he retired, leaving behind a legacy of integrity and a strong work ethic.

While Larry was dedicated to his faith and his work, his absolute favorite pastime was spending time with his family. He filled his home with music and joy, especially when playing the guitar and singing with his girls. He was also an avid collector of guns and knives. Outside of the house, Larry could frequently be found at James Grill with his beloved breakfast posse or at B.J.’s Pawn, where he spent hours discussing politics, cracking jokes, and telling tall tales. His legacy of kindness, humor, and unwavering devotion will live on through the many lives he touched.

Larry is survived by his beloved wife, Janice Katherine Brock, with whom he celebrated 54 years of marriage on January 17th; his daughters, Tiffany Falks and husband Robert of Walker, Louisiana, and Christina Graham and husband William of Maurepas, Louisiana; and his mother, Ann Brock of Ellaville, Georgia. He is also survived by his brothers, Randy Brock and wife Jaleh of Marietta, Georgia, and Mike Brock and wife Mary of Orange Park, Florida; his cherished grandchildren, Kaleb Cappadonia, Brianna Brock and fiancé Terry Langley, Joseph Nathaniel Brock, Kimberly Brock, Kayla Falks, Robert Ethan Falks, Henri Falks, Kayleigh Fisher and husband Tarrence, and Emma Graham; his adored great-grandchildren, Tyler Langley, Alister Williams, Kaiden Carr, Jackson Fisher, and Isabella Fisher; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert Brock; his sister, Maryann Brock; and his son, James “Jim” Larry Brock.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be William Graham, Robert Falks, Curt Bullock, Robert Ethan Falks, Henri Falks, Armand Keller, Micheal Mobley, and Terry Langley.

The family wishes to give a special thanks to Curt and Melinda Bullock for the many hours of love and support they poured into our family. To Donnie Breland who selflessly gave his love and time. To Angel Peters for being Larry’s Angel and Janice’s friend, comforter, and her willingness to do whatever was asked of her. And to the nurses of Hospice of Baton Rouge for taking such wonderful care of Larry during his last moments on this earth.

A celebration of Larry’s life will be held on Monday, July 13, 2026, at the First Pentecostal Church of Denham Springs, located at 1020 South Range Avenue, Denham Springs, Louisiana 70726. Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, with the funeral service beginning at 3:00 PM.
