Helen Miles

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the unexpected passing of Helen Miles. She died of heart failure Friday, December 8, 2023.

She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She had a bundle of them and loved them all. Helen enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and always brought life and laughs to every occasion. She made everyone feel welcome and loved. Helen was a beautician in the Gonzales area for over 35 years and was with Carol Junot for 20 years.

She is survived by her children, Amy Miles and Jeffery Miles both of Head of Island, LA. A sister Mary Latsetter, brothers Daniel O’Neill, Michael O’Neill, Timothy O’Neill, and Steve O’Neill.

She was also very proud of her grandchildren, Taylor J Miles, Presleigh Miles, Ashton Pepple, and Samuel (Sam) Hutchinson.  

A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales, LA from 1-5 pm.
