Hans Christopher Bruetting was born on August 15, 1968, in Baton Rouge, LA. Hans was born with an intellectual disability, but he never let it stop him from trying or doing anything that he wanted to do. He loved Sandra his wife, his family, his truck, his candy, and his long list of many favorite restaurants. He never stopped telling friends and family how much he cared for them. He was fiercely determined and committed in caring for his wife during her illness. He suffered a short, but painful battle with cancer. His faith in God, support of his family and his never-ending positive attitude allowed him to believe that he was going to pull through to the very end. He passed away peacefully on October 19, 2022, with his two sister’s and brother-in-law, Jeff by his side. Hans is survived by his wife Sandra: his son Devan and stepchildren Herman A Harrison, Kevin D Harrison, and Shanika A Harrison; his parents Gail and Werner Bruetting; his sisters Erika Jaksic and Lisa Middleton and many nieces, nephews and grandchildren who cared about him deeply. Special thank you to his Aunt Judy Bruetting, caregiver Dana and the many friends and family that visited him and helped to make his journey easier. Hans is now in heaven with Jesus, and we take comfort in knowing he is pain free.
