Glynell Lambert Templet

Glynell Lambert Templet, born February 9, 1943 in Sorrento, LA, passed away on March 24, 2026 at her home surrounded by her family, at the age of 83.

Glynell was a lifelong resident of Gonzales, LA, a graduate of Gonzales High School, and she retired from The Bank of Gonzales/Regions Bank after 22yrs. She enjoyed gardening, dancing, playing cards, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, John M. Lambert; her mother, Mabel G. Lambert; and three brothers, Allen Lambert, Byran Lambert, and Gerald Lambert.

Survived by her five children, Jill Templet (Mike Templet), Lori Stafford (Eric Redmond), Wade Templet (Julie Templet), Keri Petite (Eric Petite), and Kim Tullier (Todd Tullier); her sisters, Myra Melancon, and Delbra Templet; her brother, Randy Lambert; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; and her long-time companion, Rhett Marionneaux.

Visitation will take place at The Church International, 13423 LA-431, Saint Amant, LA 70774, on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 9:00 am until funeral service at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Serenity Oaks Memorial Park.
