Glen Artis Eldridge

Funeral service celebrating the life of Glen Artis Eldridge “Sixgun” will be held 10:30 AM, Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Fishnet Worship Center, West Monroe, LA. with Pastor, Russell Rhodes officiating. Interment will follow at Salem Cemetery, Eros, LA.

Glen was born November 28, 1966 and passed from this life surrounded by his family July 8, 2025.

He  lovingly known by his CB handle “Sixgun,” passed away peacefully at the age of 58 surrounded by his loved ones in West Monroe, Louisiana, on July 8, 2025.

Born on November 28, 1966, to Jerry Whitfield Eldridge and Janice Lee Morgan (McDonald), Glen lived a life defined by grit, humor, and unwavering love for his family. A lifelong trucker, he found freedom on the open road and pride in a hard day’s work.

Glen was a cowboy at heart—he loved horses, westerns, and the old-school values they stood for. But he was just as much a kid at heart, with a fondness for Darth Vader, late-night Xbox sessions, and sharing stories that always made you laugh.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Eldridge; daughters, Kirstine Osbon (son in law Adam Osbon) and Heather Rhodes (son in law Avery Rhodes); and his beloved grandchildren Brantley McManus, Kinslee McManus, Millie Osbon, Ella Rhodes, and Atlee Rhodes. He also leaves behind his brother Robert Eldridge.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Jerry Wane Eldridge.

Glen’s legacy will live on in the lives of those who loved him—through the stories, the laughter, and the deep love of family he always carried in his heart.

The family asks that you remember Glen by hitting the road with the windows down, watching a good western, or just taking a moment to appreciate the little things—he always did.
