George Wilton Savoy lll

George Wilton Savoy III, 53, was born on April 25, 1972, in Shreveport, Louisiana, and passed away in Baton Rouge on September 26, 2025 in hospice care.

George grew up in St. Amant, Louisiana, and built a career as a CDL truck driver. He loved sports, fishing, and popping fireworks.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Wilton Savoy Jr.; and his grandparents, George Wilton Savoy Sr. and Hilda Savoy, Lloyd Guitreau, and Christine Guitreau, Uncle Perry Savoy, Uncle Bobby Savoy, Aunt LeAnne Kruegel, and Aunt Victoria Jackson.

George is survived by his mother, Linda Granier, and her husband, Darryl; his sister, Christi Lucas, and her husband, Olin; their children, Devin Delaune and Presley Lucas; his wife, Judi Savoy, of Pennsylvania; and many loving family members and friends.

A private family service will be held in his honor. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to a GoFundMe to help with cremation expenses.
