Diane was born on January 16, 1952 to Juanita Ballard Jones and Leland L. Jones at Lallie Kemp Hospital in Independence, Louisiana. She was a painter by trade. People also knew her as Diane Dupuy or DJ. However, to us she was known as Mom, Momma Diane, Gammie, Sister, Aunt, Niece, Daughter, and friend. For those that knew her best, she loved the outdoors, going fishing and camping. She also loved lighthouses and humming birds and her three K-9 babies, Moly, Patches and Biscuit. Nature was where she found the most solace and joy. She loved sitting around a roaring fire with friends and loved ones playing her guitar, singing and telling stories.
