Gene Allen Williams

Gene Allen Williams, a native of Gonzales, LA, passed away peacefully at home with family on July 16, 2026. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and served in the Korean War. He enjoyed singing and listening to Gospel Music and growing a large garden each year sharing the fruits of his labor with family and friends.

Survived by his son, Barry G. Williams (Belinda), his daughter, Kathy W. Hearn (Charles); his sister, Zemly W. Clouatre; his grandchildren, Rachel W. Ducote (Eric Vaughn), Blaine Williams (Kacie), Courtland Bourgeois (Lexi), Emily Williams, Kaylee W. Lawrence (Jared); his great-grandchildren, Gaven Williams, Regan Ducote, Kadyn Williams, Brennan Ducote, James Madden Williams.

Preceded in death by his wife, Beulah Walker Williams; his son, Alan James Williams; his parents, Grant and Lula Williams; 6 brothers and 2 sisters.

The family would like to thank the Doctors and Staff at Ochsner Baton Rouge, the Doctors and Staff at FMOL/STE, and all the wonderful and caring staff at Bridgeway Hospice.

Pallbearers are Blaine Williams, Courtland Bourgeois, Jared Lawrence, Brennan Ducote, Kurt Ducote, and Eric Vaughn.

Visitation will be at Faithful United Methodist Church, 14253 Highway 431 St. Amant LA 70774, on Monday, July 20, 2026 from 9:00 am until funeral service at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at Church Cemetery.
