Gary was born on May 8, 1955, in Baton Rouge, and rested from this life on July 2, 2024, at Sage Rehabilitation Hospital, at the age of 69 years. He was a resident of Baton Rouge, an automotive mechanic and served with the U S Navy.

He is preceded in death by his parents Sam Joseph and Lena “Sally” Denham Guedry.

Survivors include his children Hope, Crystal, Garrett, and Joe, his siblings Wayne Guedry and wife Denise, Kerwin Guedry, Derwin Guedry and wife Rhonda, Stephanie German and husband Joseph, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
