Gary Lee Gilbert

Gary Lee Gilbert passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at the age of 74. Gary was born in Lutcher, LA on July 10, 1949, and was a resident of Saint Amant, LA. He was a Navy veteran and retired truck driver. He is survived by his son, Robert (Rhonda) Gilbert; Grandsons, Austin Gilbert (Kaitlin Bowman), Brock Gilbert, and Camden Gilbert; step-grandson, Payton Bishop (Brooke Devaux); great-grandchildren, Olivia Bishop, Isabella Gilbert, and Waylon Gilbert; siblings, Kenneth (Virginia) Gilbert and Bonnie (Bennie) Schilling; and many other nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Suzanna Gilbert; son, Scott Gilbert; parents, Robert L., and Hilda M. Gilbert; and sister, Diane Moran.

There will be a private graveside service for close family members at the cemetery on April 30, 2024.
