Gail Martinez Tullier

Gail Martinez Tullier, a native of Darrow and long-time resident of Prairieville, LA, passed away in Baton Rouge on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at the age of 73. A dedicated member of the Catholic Church, she had a deep faith in God and found joy and contentment in the simple things. She enjoyed bowling and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She sold Avon cosmetics for many years and loved meeting people and developing new relationships with her clients. She will be remembered most for her selflessness and dedication to her husband and family. Gail will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Though she has left this earthly realm, her spirit and legacy of faith will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her.


Gail is survived by her loving husband, Gerald "Doboy" Tullier; one son, Treg Tullier (Summer); one stepdaughter, Monette Wagoner; four grandchildren, Cheramie Wagoner, Haylie Wagoner, Brody Tullier, and Elijah Tullier; two siblings, Cheryl Burns and Durel Martinez, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.


She is preceded in death by her parents, Murphy and Mary Ann Trabeau Martinez. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Prairieville from 9:30am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Pallbearers are: Tommie Burns, Brandon Guillory, Durel Martinez, Blaise Martinez, Ricky Morin, and Graylin Myers. Honorary pallbearers are: Adam Forsythe, Brandon Martinez, and Adam Troxclair. 


Entombment to follow at Hope Haven Gardens of Memory Mausoleum in Prairieville. The family would like to thank Landmark South Nursing Home and Clarity Hospice for their kindness and care. Church Funeral Services of St. Amant is entrusted with arrangements.
