Upon retirement, her second career as a health surveyor for the Head Start program afforded her the opportunity to travel and share her extensive knowledge in the southwest region of the country.

She had many interests and kept current on sports, news, healthcare, and technology. She loved traveling with her family and planning many multigenerational adventures over the years, often as driver, always as navigator. Her great joy was having a house or swimming pool yard full of people, offering snacks and refreshments.

She will be remembered most for her upbeat personality, unconditional love, and the countless acts of kindness she performed tirelessly.
