Fadrel "Fay" Rita Boudreaux Aydell

Fadrel “Fay” Rita Boudreaux Aydell, a native of Bayou Goula, LA and a resident of Prairieville, LA was called to her heavenly home at the age of 90.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Her greatest joy was her family. She will be remembered for her strength, kindness, and deep faith in GOD.

She was survived by her husband, the love of her life for 66 years, Malcolm Aydell, Sr; her children Malcolm “Mick” Aydell Jr, Donovan “Don” Aydell, and Marla (Billy) Jones; her grandchildren Colby, Brock, Amanda (Colton), Seth (Erica) and Mason (Lexi); her great-grand children Camden, Thomas, Bella, Olivia and Sophia: and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Irvin and Euranie Savoie Boudreaux, her sister and husband Melva and Percy Dupuy; her brother and wife Alton Sr. and Genevieve Boudreaux.

Visitation will be held on April 24, 2026, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in French Settlement, LA from 9 am until 11 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church.

She will be deeply missed, but her love and legacy will live on in all who were blessed to know her.
