Ellis Rodney Lawless (Rodney)

Ellis Rodney Lawless (Rodney), born on December 11, 1949 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away on August 17, 2025 at home surrounded by his family. Rodney loved fishing, western movies and bird watching. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ellis Lawless and Mary Smith; and his brother, Pat Lawless. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Glendora Ann T. Lawless; his children, Ellis (Shawne), Mark (Duffi), and Rodney (Jodi); 12 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Mike Lawless, Johnny Lawless (Janice), and Debbie Wilson (Joe). Services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 15710 La Highway 16, French Settlement, LA 70733, on Friday, August 22, 2025 from 9 am until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery.
