Eleanor Newell

Our beloved Eleanor Germaine Newell entered Eternal Rest on October 6, 2024, at the age of 84. She was a native of New Orleans. She was lovingly known as “TT” by many family members. A resident of Denham Springs. No matter where she traveled, she always considered New Orleans home.

She was a spirited, creative, courageous woman who faced life’s challenges on her terms. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Germain, her father, Horace Germain and her siblings, Wilfred, Curtis, and Sandra. She is survived by many loving family members. We will always carry her memory in our hearts.

A graveside service and interment will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 18, 2024, at Greenwood Cemetery, 5190 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124.
