Edwin Mcneil Harvison

Edwin McNeil Harvison, 78, of Zachary, Louisiana, passed away peacefully in the presence of his family at the Baton Rouge General Bluebonnet on Saturday, November 26, 2022. He was a retired instrument technician with Georgia Gulf and lived in the mountains of Tennessee for much of the last twenty years after retiring. Eddie loved the Lord and was a faithful servant. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Connie Raborn Harvison. Eddie is also survived by two daughters: Dana Pate and Renee Fancher (John); four stepchildren: Melissa Doucet, Darrell Serrett, Jr. (Tootie), Michael Serrett, and Jeffrey Serrett (Roberta); three siblings: Joan Quimby and Carol Sue Perry, and Gerald Harvison (Linda); 15 grandchildren: Hunter Heil (Adrianne), Drake Heil (Rayah), Jordyn Kleinpeter (Caleb), Laken Gilbert, Morgan and Anna Christian, Trey Dispensire, Amber Madere (Nick), Kacie Laughrey (Shawn), Justin, Kyle, Rebekah, Jacob, Alec and Ava Serrett; and 3 great grandchildren: Paisley and Gavin Heil and Raylan Madere. He was preceded in death by his parents, Myra “Magee” and Nannie Lou Harvison, and brother, Joel Harvison. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that you consider a special offering in his memory to the Christian ministry of your choice.
