Edward Connor Webb Jr.

Edward Connor Webb Jr., born on October 8, 1954, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2026, at his home in Clinton, Louisiana. He was surrounded by his loving family during his final moments.

Connor dedicated his career to working as a Procedure Writer and planner for Nuclear Instrumentation. Throughout his life, he enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, and being outdoors. These simple joys brought him great happiness and created many wonderful memories shared with those he loved.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Cynthia Mitcham Webb, and their sons, Edward Connor Webb III, who is married to Sara, and Brian Scott Webb, married to Ella. Connor was also a proud grandfather to Connor, Emma, and Will Webb. His siblings, Bonnie Bourgeois and Eddy Webb, also carry on his memory.

Connor was preceded in death by his parents, Connor Sr. and Louise Webb, and his sister, Winnie Downings.

A visitation will be held on May 21, 2026, starting at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church located at 1217 S Burnside Ave, Gonzales, Louisiana. The visitation will be followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on the same day and at the same location. Following the service, there will be a burial at Lusk Cemetery in Gonzales. 

Connor's life was marked by the love he shared with his family and friends, and the peaceful moments he found in nature. He will be remembered kindly by all who knew him. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Connor's honor to St. Joseph Hospice Foundation (10615 Jefferson Hwy Baton Rouge, LA 70809.)
