Wallace Edward Leggin

A ceremony celebrating the life of Wallace Edward Leggin is pending.

Wallace was born on July 21, 1943, in Galvez, LA and rested from this life on August 27, 2025, at Our Lady of the Lake Medical Center Main Campus Baton Rouge age the age of 82 years.

He was a resident of Galvez, a retired long distance truck driver, and enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, watching old western shows and comedy movies. He especially enjoyed playing music with his brothers.

He was preceded in death by his parents Gaddis and Elma Peal Leggins, also four sisters and three brothers.

Survivors include his son Edward “Dean” Montero Leggin, daughter Tina Carr and husband James, a sister Faye A. Odom, also survived by 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
