She was one of the sweetest people you will ever have the opportunity to meet.
She was not someone that held any kind of stature, not well known by all, but those that had the chance to know her were blessed.

While it’s true, she wasn’t a perfect person or mom, she did the best that she knew. Who of us can look back and see that they never made any mistakes? We always knew that Mom loved us. She made many sacrifices for us. She had such a kind and forgiving heart, I always said, “Mom could forgive the devil”, lol. I don’t believe she has a malicious bone on her body. I have seen her hurt so badly yet still forgive. She taught me to forgive. She taught me to think about the other person and what they may have been trying to say, rather than what they said. She taught me to always give the benefit of doubt and not to just assume. I can only pray that I be as good hearted a person as my Mom was. She was a fierce defender! I can remember many a time when something happened to us at school that wasn’t right, my Mom would ride the bus to school the next day and “take care of business”, lol.

She love God with all her heart and today, she is with Him in heaven. She and Daddy will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary together. She is with Granny and Vicki. We will miss her terribly, but we are so thankful that she is no longer suffering.

She was a daughter, sister, Aunt, wife, sister-in-aw, mother-in-law,  grandma, granny but most importantly she was our Mom.
