He retired from Louisiana Power & Light (Entergy) after 34 ½ years. Ever since Edmar married he always had a vegetable garden, fruit trees, lots and lots of beautiful flowers and a very well-kept yard. For his vacations he enjoyed his boat and would catch shrimp to supply the family all year. He was always such a great provider for his family. He helped anyone who needed help. He enjoyed wood carving classes and made some beautiful carvings for the family to enjoy for years to come. Edmar was a man who gave his all and never expected anything in return.

He will be dearly missed and forever remembered as a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend who treasured his family. May your heart be filled with wonderful memories and joyful times to help ease your pain. He believed once a Marine, always a Marine. Special thanks to the Pinnacle Hospice program for all the help and dedication of their workers. They worked with respect, love and could not do any more than they had. Special thanks to Angelle, Brandi, Jason, Tara, Tierra and Veronica. We are so grateful for having them at such a time.
