Douglas K. Stewart

A ceremony celebrating the life of Douglas K. Stewart will be held on Friday February 20, 2026, at Baham-Stewart Cemetery, visitation will begin at 1:00 pm with graveside service at 1:30 pm.

Mr. Stewart was born on August 24, 1959, in Baton Rouge and rested from this life on February 9, 2026, at Rapides Regional Medical Center, at the age of 66 years.

Douglas was always known for his love for hunting, pets, being a big joker, and his outlaw streak. He had an eventful life working across the country in the pipeline industry as an instrumentation technician. 

He is preceded in death by his father Lawrence Stewart, his loving wife of many years Marlene Stewart, his two brothers Michael and Wayne and his long-time best friend Jimmie Tant.

Survivors include his son Jacob Stewart (Santanna), his mother Carolyn Mungle, his stepmother Norma Stewart, his sister Paige Blom (Lars), and buddy Cole Harris.

Jacob will always remember his dad as a devoted Christian and father. He leaves his mark as a brave fighter on everyone that was blessed to know him.
