Dorothy Jean Boudinot, a native of Osyka, MS and resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away on May 26, 2025, at her home at the age of 91. Dorothy was a faithful member of Istrouma Baptist Church and Bengal Belles. She loved LSU sports, shopping and spending time with family and friends. Dorothy was the proud owner of Trend Setters Gifts and Gallery, and at one point, worked at Gerard Furniture and Kornmeyers . Later she worked for Classic Jewelers where she gained many dear friends. Dorothy is survived by son, Jerry Wayne Boudinot Jr. and his wife, Suzie; granddaughters, Bailey and Mary Katherine Boudinot, Sydney Oliver and Katie and Scott Distefano; great grandchildren, Mila and Sofia Distefano. She is preceded in death by spouse, Jerry Wayne Boudinot; her parents, Luther L. And Addie Lee Feigler; brother, James Fiegler and her sister, Brenda Hayden.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in Dorothy's honor to Istrouma Baptist Church or Hospice of Baton Rouge.
Family would like to thank Hospice of Baton Rouge and her hospice team - Lisa Comeaux, Paulette Redmond, Judy Pol, Crystal London, Jay Buzbee and Randle Lowrance for their compassionate care and support.
A funeral service will be held at Istrouma Baptist Church in Baton Rouge on June 9, 2025, with visitation beginning at 10am until service at 11am. Burial to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory in Baton Rouge, LA.
