Donald “Donny” Joseph Donaldson Jr.

Donald “Donny” Joseph Donaldson Jr., passed away on Friday, July 7th, 2023, at the age of 51. Donny was born March 3rd, 1972 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was a native of Galvez, LA and a resident of Prairieville, LA. Donny would go on to graduate from St. Amant High School in 1990, where he then continued his education to earn his Associates Degree in Process Technology from ITI Technical College. He pursued a career as a Project Manager.

Donny will be missed forever and will live in the hearts of those who he leaves behind, his loving parents, Donald Joseph Donaldson Sr. and Elizabeth “Liz” Donaldson; his siblings, Franny Guillot (Steve) and Della Louque (Scott). Forever cherished and missed by his children, Devin Donaldson (Rainah), Faith Donaldson, Blaise Donaldson and Maddix Donaldson; grandchildren, Abram Donaldson and Ezra Donaldson; nieces, Alexis Louque Zeringue (Luke) and Avarie Louque Gravois (Logan); nephews, Luke Guillot and Alex Guillot, as well as other relatives and friends. Donny enjoyed playing golf with his children and friends. He was an avid LSU fan and spent his time watching all collegiate games. He will be forever remembered for his ability to spark conversation and humor. Donny’s geniality knew no bounds as it was hard to walk away from him without an ear-to-ear grin. Most who knew him will remember his quick wit and joy in spending time with those around him. Donny was incredibly loved and will forever be missed. The family of Donny thanks all of who have contacted us and prayed for those who loved him most. A private memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.
