Dietra “Dee” Ann Dupuy

Dietra “Dee” Ann Dupuy passed away in Baton Rouge on August 15, 2023.  She was born on October 12, 1947, in Baton Rouge to Edwin and Dorothy Dupuy.  She was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and received a degree in Nursing from Northwestern State University.  She worked as a traveling nurse for a few years and worked for the Baton Rouge General and Our Lady of the Lake hospitals. Dee was a loving, thoughtful, and most selfless sister and aunt.  Nothing pleased her more than buying little gifts for everyone.  She is survived by her brothers, John Barry Dupuy, Terry Dupuy(Nancy), nephew Kevin Dupuy(Terri Ann), niece Leigh Ann Burton(Eric), great-niece Sophie Burton, niece Amy Dupuy and nephew Jerry Dupuy and her best friend Patti Fish. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Jerome Dupuy.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 2025 Stuart Avenue, Baton Rouge, LA 70808, from 10:00 a.m. until mass at 11:00 a.m.  A burial will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
