Diane Davis Thompson

Diane Davis Thompson, 76, of Magee, Mississippi, passed away peacefully to her Heavenly home on Tuesday March 3, 2026. 

Diane married the love of her life, Donnie Thompson, and they shared many wonderful years of marriage together. Their love was a true testament of a loving and devoted marriage. She was the best wife, mother and grandmother. 

Diane lived her life with kindness, strength, and grace. To know her was to love her. She loved LSU sports and rarely ever missed a game. Her favorite things to do were travel, watch LSU sports, and cheer for her grandchildren at their sporting events. 

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donnie Thompson, and her daughter, Stephanie Renaye Thompson. She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her daughter Donna Anne Thompson; her grandchildren, Tyler (Chelsy) Posey, Garrett Manchester and Connor Ford; and her great-grandchildren, Addison and Tripp Posey; brother, Joe Davis and a host of nieces and nephews. Diane will be remembered for her warm heart, unwavering love for her family, and the joy she brought to everyone who knew her. Her legacy of faith, love, and dedication to family will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
