Diane Johnson Guidry

Diane James Guidry, born in New Orleans on February 7, 1945, and passed away peacefully at her home in Prairieville on September 4, 2023 at the age of 78. Diane was a loving wife and mother for 52 years. She is survived by her husband, Carroll James Guidry; children, Katherine Oliver, Jennifer Joy Nenes, and Douglas James Guidry; grandchildren, Ashley Oliver and Christopher B. Oliver; great grandchildren, Kaydence and Nevah Oliver; sisters, Phyllis Cowart, Lillian “Lou” Baldwin; brothers, Wilbur Augustus Johnson, Jr. and David Johnson; nieces and nephews, Val Cowart, Brenda Barber, Beverly Cowart, Dawn Melancon, Adair Melancon, Trey Johnson, Crystal Johnson, Joshua Johnson; special friends, Gerry Dykes and Gail Heurtin; her beloved dog, Tim. Diane is preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur Augustus Johnson, Sr. And Lillian Adair Johnson. A memorial service to honor Diane’s life will be celebrated at her home at a later date.
