On the morning of August 20, 2025, at the age of 66, Dennis went to be with his Lord and Savior. He was a resident of Gonzales and a native of Port Allen.
After graduating High School, he enlisted in the Army where he served in Artillery for 10 years. After his military service he held various jobs in construction. After retiring he went to work for the Council on Aging as a delivery driver, delivering meals to the elderly and shut-ins was the job he enjoyed most.
His favorite past times were spending time with his family; motorcycle riding, garage sale-ing, target practice and playing computer games with his daughter. He was best known for his generosity and ability to make people laugh.
Preceded in death by his Paternal and Maternal Grandparents, and his father, Joseph Anthony Pourciau, Jr.
Survived by his wife of 43 years, Margie Braud Pourciau; daughter, Mitzi (Thomas), Gonzales; Mom, Lucille Bueche Pourciau, St. Amant. Brothers, Jonathan (Michelle), Lewisville, TX; Shane (Jeanette), St. Amant, Sister, Doreen P. Swanson (Greg), St. Amant. Nephews; Nathan, Joshua and Jeremy. His favorite cat, Courage, who never left his side.
