Dennis C Massey Sr.

Dennis C Massey Sr. (86) 0f Baton Rouge Louisiana, passed away on July 4th 2023 after heart complications Dennis (Dink) was born on July 21 1936 to Walter and Mabel Massey in Wilmer Arkansas. After graduating from Fayetteville H.S. he became a member of the US Air Force. He later attended the University of Arkansas where he received a degree in Agriculture Engineering. While residing most of his life in Baton Rouge ,La. he became both an Arkansas alum and an avid LSU Tiger fan. Dennis was predeceased by both parents Walter and Mable Massey, sister Mary Claire Massey Johnston Richardson, brother Mike Massey, daughter Patricia Massey Brantley, and great great grandchild, Maverick Brantley. He is survived by his longtime partner Gayle Watts, brother Blake Massey and sister Jane Massey Udouj, children Dennis Massey JR. and Meredith Massey Maurer, nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Dennis loved to fish almost as much as he loved a great fish story. With the gift of the gab and a knack for storytelling he was always good for a laugh. He was a thinker whose head was filled with an endless supply of million dollar ideas ready to share. Dennis never met a stranger. He was always willing to help anyone in need because he had a friend who knew a guy who also knew a guy that could somehow solve your problem. He will be missed but not forgotten
