Dean Bourgeois

Dean Bourgeois, 70, of St. Amant, Louisiana, passed away on March 15, 2025. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, Dean’s love for his family was evident in all he did.

He was a wonderful father to his three sons, Thomas Paul Bourgeois, Steven Clement Bourgeois, and Christopher Lynn Bourgeois Sr., and a loving husband to his wife, Verna Bourgeois. He adored his two grandchildren, Christopher Lynn Bourgeois Jr. and Cash Paul Bourgeois, and cherished every moment spent with them. Dean was a beloved brother to Sheila Bourgeois Lee and a caring uncle to his nephews, Ronald Elkins and Donald Elkins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Raoul and Ruth Nell Bourgeois.

Dean had a deep passion for fishing and found joy in being surrounded by his loved ones, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

A Celebration of Life will be held on March 28, 2025, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in St. Amant, LA. Immediate family is invited to gather at 9:00 AM, with services open to the public at 10:00 AM.

Dean’s kindness, love, and dedication to his family will never be forgotten. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
