David Lynn Whittington

David was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He passed away Monday, January 8, 2024, at the age of 63. David was an avid fisherman and loved living on the water in Bayou Sorrel, LA. 

Visitation will be Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Faith Tabernacle Church in Bayou Sorrel. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. with services at 12 p.m. conducted by Pastor Ralph Doiron.

David is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Danelle Whittington Cedotal and Michael Cedotal Jr., grandson Elijah, sister and brother-in-law Lillie and Kenneth Johnson, as well as many other family and friends. David was preceded in death by his parents, David and Frances Whittington, three sisters Janice Whittington, Elsie Broussard, and Cynthia Hernandez; two brothers, William H., and Frank Whittington.
